Why We Built This

The economics of building software have changed.

Low-code, AI-assisted coding, and modern data tooling have made it possible to solve problems that used to need enterprise scale and enterprise budgets — for businesses that previously couldn't touch them. The same shifts let us unify the fragmented data environments that even the largest, most complex businesses have been carrying for years.

We built BambooIQ to work in both directions — for the businesses that had been priced out of meaningful tooling, and the ones drowning in complexity they'd accumulated.

Who Runs It

Two senior partners, on every engagement.

Willem Otto

Founding Partner

Twenty years of technology leadership across the UK and South Africa, with deep experience in enterprise architecture, data management, and product engineering. At BambooIQ, Willem leads the technical side of every engagement — designing how systems should fit together, what to build, and how to keep delivery on track. He has spent the last decade scaling technology organisations through transformation programmes, both inside companies and as an external operator.

Adriaan Bekker

Founding Partner

A commercial and technical leader working across data, systems, and sustainability. At BambooIQ, Adriaan structures the strategic side of engagements — turning ambiguous problems into clear frameworks, agreeing what to fix first, and translating strategy into outcomes leadership can stand behind. He has worked across startups, consulting firms, and infrastructure-scale programmes in the UK and South Africa.

How We Work

Find the real problem. Get leadership behind the fix. Deliver without breaking the business.

01

Diagnose

We start with a short working session. The problem you brought us is rarely the whole problem — and the hardest part is usually not the technology, but the people who've built their roles around the current way of working.

02

Design

We design the fix with the people who'll have to back it, so leadership isn't selling it on its own. Scope, sequence, and trade-offs are agreed before any build begins.

03

Deliver

Staged execution with clear go/no-go points. You sign off each stage, one decision at a time. The business keeps running while we work.

Three Principles We Run On

How to Start

How to start.

Most of our work starts with a short working session — leadership and the operational team, agreeing what's actually broken and what's worth fixing first. If something in your business is harder than it should be, that's the trigger.
